Formed in 1960, Alaska Water Wastewater Management Association (AWWMA) is the Alaska Section of American Water Works Association, and a Member Association of the Water Environment Federation. AWWMA operates in cooperation with Federal & State Regulatory Agencies, Local Governments, and other Associations or Organizations. AWWMA sponsors an annual conference, in addition to regional (Northern, South Central and South East) conferences, schools, discussions, and instructions in subjects related to water treatment, distribution, and water pollution control.

British American Business Council of New England (BABCNE )
The British American Business Council of New England, Inc. (BABCNE) is a non-profit international business association with a membership of more than 100 New England-based companies and individuals involved in transatlantic trade. It was launched in September 1986 by HRH The Prince of Wales.
The Council is dedicated to helping its members build and manage their businesses by providing them with introductions and referrals, marketing & networking opportunities and business intelligence through a variety of programs, trade services and publications. BABCNE is a founding member of the British American Business Council (BABC) network which consists of 32 business organizations located in the US and UK and with affiliates in Canada and Mexico. Florida Society of Ambulatory Surgery Centers (FSASC )
The mission of the Florida Society of Ambulatory Surgical Centers (FSASC) is to advance the ambulatory surgical center industry through government advocacy and to promote the professionalism of its members through education, networking and the exchange of information.
In Florida, FSASC is the only organization that maintains close contact with state agencies to monitor and impact regulations that govern ASCs. Members are provided with a steady flow of vital information to enable centers to operate with state-of-the-art surgical, technical and administrative procedures. FSASC hosts an annual trade show and provides educational offerings, a quarterly newsletter and timely fax and email broadcasts on industry specific items.
FSASC is focused on the advancement of the ambulatory surgical center industry through legislative and regulatory advocacy. The Society maintains an active presence in Tallahassee with full time staff and lobbyist. On a national level, the Society works cooperatively with both the Federated Ambulatory Surgery Association (FASA) and the American Association of Ambulatory Surgical Centers (AAASC). This cooperation allows FSASC members to add their influence to activities at the Federal level.
Greater Washington Urban League (GWUL )
Founded in 1938 and one of more than 100 affiliates of the National Urban League, the Greater Washington Urban League is a major civil rights and social services organization located in the District of Columbia. The League has nearly
70 years of experience in dealing effectively with a wide range of social and economic problems, and is governed by a 37-member Board of Directors composed of a cross-section of individuals from the Washington metropolitan area, and an Advisory Board that lends expertise and guidance to support the work of the agency.
The mission of the League is "to increase the economic and political empowerment of African Americans and other minorities and to help all Americans share equally in the responsibilities and rewards of full citizenship." To accomplish its mission, the League uses the tools and methods of social work, economics, law and other disciplines to bring about equal opportunities and equal access to African Americans and minorities in the Washington metropolitan area.
This new decade and century see the Greater Washington Urban League continuing an ongoing partnership with major institutions in both the public and private sectors to alleviate the hardships experienced by our constituents. Such partnerships also provide new avenues for our constituents to enter into the economic mainstream. Base support is provided by various private funding sources and the League also has contracts with federal and local government agencies to conduct specially-funded programs. Although many of our programs are government funded, the League continually seeks creative ways in which to involve the private sector and community groups in joint programmatic ventures.

National Association of Case Management (NACM)
NACM was founded as a non-profit corporation in 1990 in conjunction with the first national case management conference held in Cincinnati. The NACM founders were concerned that there was no professional association to encourage, train and support the emerging practice of case management. In 1990 case managers came from many educational backgrounds and this is still true today. Then and now, Very few colleges and universities prepare their students specifically for a career in case management. Yet, even in 1990, early evaluation of the burgeoning practice of case management was beginning to show positive outcomes for people served by case managers. NACM's founders believed that it was critically important to both support and train case managers and to promote the practice of case management.
